6-8 hours.
POWDERED MAKEUP
Powdered makeup can be applied sooner.
It is ideal to not apply it before 6 hour, as it could interfere with the even development of spray tan. The facial skin will make any streaks or spots more noticeable.
We suggest you wait until the next day, to give your spray tan enough time to develop and set.
WHAT MAKEUP IS SUITABLE FOR USE RIGHT AWAY AFTER A SPRAY TANNING?
MASCARA OR EYELINER
You can use mascara or eyeliner afterwards, since spray tanning does not affect your eyelashes.
Dark eyeliner and mascara will make your new skin color and eyes pop.
Be careful when removing the spray tan. Spilled eye makeup remover can ruin it.
FAKE EYELASH
After a spray-tan you can safely apply artificial eyelashes, just as with mascara.
LIPSTICK/LIP GLAZE
The FDA warns against spray tanning lips because they are considered mucous membranes. You don’t need to apply lipstick after your tanning session. There is no spray tan used on lips.

CAN I USE MAKEUP REMOVAL AFTER SPRAY TANNING?
Beginner tanners often ask if they can use makeup remover following a spray-tan. The answer is yes.
The tanning process is already complete, so the makeup remover only removes makeup from the topmost layer of your skin.
You will have no problem removing makeup as long as you allow the tanning lotion to set in.
HOW DO YOU REMOVE MAKEUP WITHOUT DAMAGEING IT AFTER A SPRAY TANNING?
You can clean your makeup using the same steps as before, but in a gentler way.
Remove your eye makeup
You should always start with a cleansing – that is, removing all makeup. This technique involves two washes.
Use cotton pads and eye makeup remover, or micellar solution, depending on the type of makeup that you have applied.
Massage these pads gently around your eyes and face to remove makeup. Do not worry if some cleanser is left on the skin, but make sure you have completely removed the makeup.
CLEANSE THE FACE WITH A CLEANING OIL
Add a little cleansing oil to every part of your skin. Only a tiny amount is needed to cover your entire face.
Avoid using products that contain oil, like cleaning oil or butter. After using it only once, my spray-tan pigment was quickly broken down.
FACE WASHING
Rinsing is the next step, so you don’t have to worry if any product remains. Wash your face with lukewarm or warm water. Be careful not to use too much heat.
After that, gently wipe the cleanser onto your skin. Massage your face gently with your fingertips in circles.
PAT DRY
This step involves blotting the face with a soft, clean cloth. It is important to keep in mind two things.
Begin by gently patting the face with a soft, but firm towel. This will prevent bacteria from entering your pores. Do not completely dry your skin. Instead, leave it slightly damp so that the moisturizer can absorb better.

POWDER MAKEUPS
You may prefer liquid makeup if you use it frequently. They are easy to use, can hide fine lines and give a shiny finish.

PURCHASE DISTINCT FOUNDATIONS
It is not the cheapest way to solve the problem, but it is certainly the most direct method because it eliminates it instantly.
Get one that matches the color of your skin if you’re very tanned. If you become very pale, then get another one that matches.
Choose foundations that are from the same manufacturer and brand if possible. You can also look for foundations that have similar textures and finishes. It is not a good idea to mix matte and dewy foundations.
